The Mitten pop-up book
Jumping Jack Press approached me to create a sweet, contemporary take on the classic Ukrainian folktale of The Mitten.
In this version, a modern-day boy's lost mitten is discovered by a group of curious woodland animals, and hijinks ensue. Seven spreads of fun feature interactive pull tabs and wheels—all within a magical pop-up landscape created by the wonderful illustrator, Pippa Curnick, and award-winning paper engineer, Yevgeniya Yeretskaya.
Parents Magazine named The Mitten one of their "10 Best Children's Books of 2014."
